Light soiling to covers with minor staining and rubbing of gilt work. Spine extremes rounded with slightly tattered ends. Front and mid gutters shaken. Text block evenly toned. Small tear to second fly leaf. Binding remains intact, albeit shaken. Colored plates beautifully vibrant. Free of known marginalia. All 32 plates are present. A outstanding collection of historical pottery and ceramics from Japan.
